The Gates! For example, Golgari Guildgate here: www.wizards.com/magic/tcg/article.aspx?x=mtg/tcg/returntoravnica/cig#That is a dual land for pauper! Combined with the old Ravnica duals, suddenly you can play 5-8 (I admit they are not the best, though) dual lands in a two-color deck. Will this finally make non-cloudpost two-color decks a big presence in Classic Pauper? Or will the single color decks still prevail?

Are these really gonna affect the format? Compare these to the old Karoos bounce duals from Ravnica. These aren't really any better imo. You still have to skip a turn in mana development and these lands don't even ramp like the bouncelands..
Im not sure about these yet...

I dunno, I'm pretty stoked by them. Shock lands without the ability to shock and get them untapped. I wouldn't run 4-of's necessarily, but they have me excited.

There's also some creature cards that have Gate clauses, like Ogre Jailbreaker.

Yeah. I think what may make them more playable will be the other cards that interact with the Gate subtype. If they are good interactions with other cards then they will see more play. Plus enemy color common duals are always going to be playable.

Transguild Promenade Land Transguild Promenade enters the battlefield tapped. When Transguild Promenade enters the battlefield, sacrifice it unless you pay 1. Tap: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Illus. Noah Bradley #249/274
OK so not a "Pauper Dual Land" persay, but a pretty cool color fixing option none-the-less.
I liken it to Shimmering Grotto or even the Vivid Land Cycle.

Holy crap! I'm excited by them for sure! Just got back from a short vacation and started perusing spoilers. Lol, more interested in these than the shock lands, for sure, but that might be due to playing Pauper.

In a month, we shall see.
