I agree with GrumpyOldGamer that I'd rather have a - let's say - family-friendly podcast. I don't mind if there is some (emphasis on some) cursing when talking about an emotional topic. Honestly, I don't see the point in having those kind of expressions being broadcast. Or am I just not American enough to understand that mentality? Could anyone please explain to me why I should voluntarily let myself kind of insulted? Oo

William,
Personally, I struggle with bad language. Mostly as a result of being in bands and picking up nasty back stage language.
I think it comes down to the podcast atmosphere. I'm just having a conversation with my friends, so I talk like I talk around them. But then, it gets broadcast to the world. That's why I try to check myself.

I think, as far as podcasts go it is pretty tame as far as the language and slang. Kudos for that.

It's such a small thing to try and check yourself that way. And I want people to listen, and not be turned off by my bad habits. Thanks for acknowledging it.

It's just too easy to swear in english. Some of the bad words have just become part of the everyday vocabulary. English is not even my first language, and whenever I speak it I have to check myself, otherwise I'll cuss without even realizing it. So I definitely understand how it can be.

As I said, I really don't mind if some bad words are dropped in the podcast. It just happens and sometimes it emphasizes what you want to say. I also do it. However, I don't see the point in actually requesting more cursing. Special remark @ Chris: I really appreciate your efforts in not to curse to much. I want to make sure I made myself clear: I don't mind swearing being on the podcast, but I don't need like intentionally added bad words.
