I dont think they are OP, black and red have one mana kills. Ok. I respectfully disagree. StoP and PtE are one of the most powerful spot removal spells ever printed. Name a card from any other color that can exile any threat (that doesn't have shroud/hexproof/prot) with one mana at instant speed. There is a reason why there is a drawback printed into those cards! And seriously, the drawback is something you can play through. These cards are way too overpowered in pauper format! And actually these cards aren't even the type of cards that are needed in the format. The format needs few cards to battle storm decks. For everything else there are some options. And since most spot removal spells are printed as commons, we have quite a selection of those available, no need for StoP and PtE. No. Seriously no - It wouldn't be fun. Just check in how many formats Skullclamp is/has been banned and you might realize if it actually would make it in pauper.

I always think Stp is scary to people who didnt play against it back the times itvwas std legal its just creature kill. I was also just screwing around about skullclamp. Its not as good with out arcbound ravager but it would be 4 of in most decks besideds mono blue or r/u post. Stp and pte are just creature kill, and really not to baf. If the format needs a fix at all the fix is to ban grapeshot and maybe glimmerpost. That would bring in more aggro, but no turn2-3 kills.

I would like to see Kavu Chameleon and Scragnoth as commons. I think the "cant be countered" ability for green is neither complicated nor game breaking and should be allowed at common. Blue already has a lot of tools at its disposal and green always tends to be left behind because ground creatures are often just weaker than anything else.
I also see no reason why something like Blured mongoose could not be a common (though I would definitely listen to anyone wanting to explain why).
Another card I wouldn't mind seeing is Caltrops.

I agree with Matti on Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile. The format already suffers from having weak creatures. Making one of the two most powerful spot-removal spells in the game available - or both! - would just imbalance the format further.

What about making something like Tidings a common? I know that it would mainly help cloudpost, but I'm sure there are other decks it would be good in.

If you're going to ask for Tidings, I'm going to ask for Jace's Ingenuity. I'll give up the one card in exchange for instant speed over sorcery speed.

The problem with Jace's Ingenuity is that it is an instant, that's way to powerful for a common card IMO.

I'd really like to see some more build around me enchantments or artifacts floating around in Pauper. At the moment, all that comes to mind is Tortured Existence. It would have been nice, for instance, if Secrets of the Dead or Burning Vengeance had been common.

I have been browsing gatherer like maniac for my upcoming article and stumbled upon this spell: What do you think. Could we see something like this printed in common? To battle those faeries.

Man, I wish.
The mana cost is fair for common, and the -1/-1 certainly isn't busted.
Bring it back in ME5 at common!

And its sorcery speed, would be too good as an instant.

That would be awesome vs. Elves, Hexproof and Faeries. Yea, lets see that reprinted as a common.

I'm not sure if it would be run, however. It would be good in a mono black aggro against things like fairies, but I don't think MBC would be playing this...witches just seem like a better answer.
Generally speaking, I think pauper needs more unique cards, to make the format play less like a draft. That being said, most decks in classic that are tier 1 do feature pretty useful and interesting interactions (besides a deck made up of lightning bolt, divination and bears).
