great thread i have a couple ideas for stories in my head at any given time but alas no time to write them down on the digital vs paper fight i thought i'd never read a book on a reader (even though i've done the books on tape in my car) but my daughter got a NOOK for christmas last year and i've read my last 3 books on it JUST TO EASY E-pub will be the way everything gets published in a couple years I think you are right. Havent tried it myself yet, though, but they seem pretty good.

E-Pub is great. I got a Nook for father's day, and have torn through novels like crazy. It's even easier than reading paper.

I'm pretty sure you can use pdf files with the Nook at it's factory settings. You have to buy through the Barnes and Noble store to get stuff, but the prices can be as low as 99 cents.
I rooted mine, and turned it into a functional android tablet, so I can use the internet, have access to the google store, etc.
And regarding pricing, my library also has a digital collection, so I use their app for books as well. That's free with my library membership.

I'm curious... will we ever get a sample of your writing? Not necessarily the book you're working on, but maybe a bit of something else you wrote? I'd be interested to see what kind of writing style you have.

Yeah, once I have something final draft-ish, I'll post it up.

jcrodd, if the stories are really good, work with someone who has the time for writing. I am quite fascinated by people who write books together, though I haven't tried it yet.
Just got my new book as an audio book. Just a rough draft, though, but it is very interesting to hear this girl with an amazing voice trying to pronounce all the weird fantasy names :-)
Sadly, as always, it is all in Swedish
