I agree with Mike. I think it makes the podcast more vivid and natural. Sticking to Pauper only would make the podcast sound stiff and forced. In real life (I assume) that no one sticks to just one topic when having a conversation.

I'm not angry in any way, just wanted to put that out there first.
The reason I posted all those ideas was to show just a few examples of how much content there is to talk about just focusing on pauper. I also don't think that those podcasts that mainly focus on their premise sound at all stiff. That's why I've given examples of ones that do this successfully like the MortarPod, East-West Draftcast and of course, Limited Resources, which try to follow a structure or have a series of recurring segments and a main topic.
There are many who enjoy hearing a lot of talking. For that I usually turn to the Eh Team! From Pauper to the People, however, I would, ideally, like to be a better player in that format after listening to the podcast. When that doesn't happen, it prompts me to think of and write suggestions.

The organic nature of podcasts is what makes them fun to listen to. So go off topic if you must. I miss the old PTTP podcasts where tuna and chris talk about mundane life stuff that everyone can relate too.
