This thread is for discussion about MtG rumors.
To kick-off: I guess everyone is already heard about booster prices rising to 5USD when M13 comes out? Is there any confirmation about this or is it just a rumor? I have no background for these claims, this is just something I have picked from different forums & twitter.

I've heard it mentioned on various other shows. It seems like it could, and probably will, happen.

lame And the price difference is pretty big if they go up from 4 -> 5. If you buyu a box of each set it adds quickly to price..

Here, they're already around 5.2 USD per pack in the stores. Is there a price difference when you buy your boosters online or in real life?

We have a local game store that sells them for $3.99, and a new store that started selling them for $2.99 to drum up business. MTGO doesn't change their prices, but bots can vary wildly.

Do you know anything about the prices when ordering "paper booster" online?

Do you know anything about the prices when ordering "paper booster" online? If you can afford it, the best value is usually buying a booster box. For instance, preorders of Dark Ascension can be bought for around $90. Certain sets can be cheaper or more expensive depending on which ones they are, how many were printed, etc. Ultimately, if super cheap is what you want to do, buy singles and save boosters for drafting. If you win some, save them for the next draft.

SCG has a decent deal for a boosterbox fatpack and all five intro decks when the new blocks come out. I'm still a NOOB at heart and like cracking paper packs.

I'm still a Newer player that still has plenty to offer to the community and should be respected and not given a derogatory nickname at heart and like cracking paper packs. Fixed your post. ;D Most definitely agree with you that. Cracking real life packs is one of the best feelings tied to this game.

Cracking real life packs is one of the best feelings tied to this game. That is true! But as a cube builder who only needs the expensive pimp cards, cracking is a very bad idea. That being said I like limited, and you know that in order to play limited you need boosters. Right now I have 12xISD Boosters here to wait so that one of my buddies can come and we will play sealed with those boosters.
