First of these is behind. I played a swiss draft and started with P1P1 Vorapede and continued to build a solid GW deck with 2 Priests, 1 Geist and overall good deck. Match one was very tight but I lost g3 because I couldn't draw my 4th land. Match two my opponent didn't have a very good deck and he was playing three colours, but he managed to cast t6 or t7 Angelic Overseer in every game with Humans in the BF. So I lost that 1-2 also. What a beating... Match 3 went 1-1 and game three I have to mulligan to 5. However I manage to come back and eventually win the game with pretty good margin and Gnaw to the Bone backup. What a complaining it was! My opponent lost it seriously. These were some of his comments: lol, what a luck. you can't play, but you draw perfect. without that Priest you would have lost - to which I replied: But u lost Then he proceeds to complain and even says: Well I guess the day had to come. I have never before lost three games in a draft. I had few good comments to that, but I just left to make some coffee and let the clock run out for him.

I always find it amusing how people feel compelled to say things like " you can't play but you're lucky". Does it actually make them feel better? I think the best response is to ask them exactly that

My favorite responses when people say stuff like that:
"I'm not that lucky. I had to listen to you, after all." "You mad, bro?" "Don't be so upset, I'm not even trying!" "Your tears taste delicious." "Reported." (But don't really do it.)

Usually I don't even care. I have no respect for people who complain like that and I just ignore them. The only reason I responded to this guy was that he didn't concede or pass the priority once it was clear that he is losing.

I played a swiss draft early today and drafted awesome GW deck (but without travel preps). R1G1 I have to mulligan down to 4 cards because my first hand had only one forest (and my early stuff is mainly white) and 6 & 5 hands were nolanders. Also my opponent is playing one of the best color combinations in the formar: UB. He also goes t2 Invisible stalker and equips it with Demonmail Hauberk on t4.
But I won the game! My opening hand was: Plains, Plains, Thalia, Selfless Cathar and I draw enough lands and creatures to fill the board and just outrace him. He must have felt pretty bad... And game two is pretty miserable for him too. He gets stuck with three mana, but manages to stall the board kinf of. Well I drop Geist-Honored Monk on t6 and he is a 6/6 and suddenly I have enough board presence to actully swing for lethal in turn7 with Wild Hunger backup. Just on t5 the game was pretty even and if he would have drawn a land the situation could have been very different.
