I played a release event, even though I am not a big fan of this draft format based on articles and videos. I was kinda unfortunate to open good simic in DGM and get absolutely nothing in GTC. Still managed to find enough playables to make a Green based deck with a splash for blue and black. I didnt get any fixing at all!!! Managed to 2-1 the swiss but I wasn't happy about my deck. Won quite many games from Azor's Elocutors btw as that was my backup deckbuilding plan after seeing it in P3P1.

I haven't played any DGM-GTC-RTR drafts yet but played a crap load of DGM only pre-releases. They were slow to say the least and makes me really wish pauper had at least a couple of the split cards.

I played two more drafts and I am 2-1, 2-1, 2-1 record so far. That is decent, usually I fail miserably my first few drafts in each format. My last deck was actually a really cool and without some nutdraws from the oppponent in game three I could have gone 3-0. He managed to draw two cards in a row that forced dmg through. My deck was mono two-drops In Esper colours.

OH! And I forgot to mention that in the swiss queues at least people are valuing manafixing high and willing to play four colors. I have been focusing on one color or guild with a splash and haven't really got any guildgates in three drafts (2 total). This means that I have won some games simply because my opponents are unable to cast spells. I would advise to be cautious with too many colors unless you can get enough fixing.
