mtgostrat.com/2013/06/pauper-to-the-people-episode-113-clever-title/Chris watched a lot of Fringe, Nate drafted Modern Masters, and Peter still wants Pristine Talisman in the cube. The gang discusses cube updates, Modern Masters prices, the Classic U/R Brew of the Month, and Heroes of the Web asks, “Worst Booster Ever?” This is Pauper to the People.

I was about to play my first match with the brew of the month this morning, but the Beta client just sapped the fun out of everything, so I guess I am going outside in the sun instead. But next week I will play at least one match on film with it.

But next week I will play at least one match on film with it. Sweet. I've heard a lot of complaints about the Beta on Twitter lately. I'm thinking the stress testing they've been doing by making it forced is really bringing it's shortcomings to the forefront, which will hopefully lead to good things.

Yeah, why does mtgcast take so long? You know you can always download it on mtgostrat.com as an mp3 and put it on your mobile, Greystone? That's what I do

Admittedly, I am very new to the MTGO scene, however I started using the Beta yesterday and it is a vast improvement over the current client which is very dated. So far I have not had any problems and I will continue to use it until I do.

Great show as always.
Concerning the beta client. I used the beta and to me it's just not ready for primetime. Nothing about it is intuitive.
Trade binders are out and the new inventory manager just sucks. Deck building is much more difficult. Trading is also more difficult with the new client. At least with the old client you could see how many you had of a card while trading.
You can't filter games by clan members or your buddy list. This is very annoying to me. I love watching my clan members or buddies play.
I have all my decks stored under the net deck feature and some of the decks never showed up when I was trying to play. Also the filter would automatically switch me over to the import screen and not even allow me to pick a deck sometimes.
I do like the chat windows and the play screen window.
