Just played some fast one-of's to see how the main deck works and it seems like it's mving in the right direction. I only played two tier one decks, both post decks - one Izzet and one Fissure combo. I went 4-1 overall but I'm not counting this in my record because I didn't play with a SB. The games were: win vs.. GR Madness deck win vs. Izzet Post loss vs. Fissure Post win vs. UW Fliers deck
Rancor and Harrow are both great.

I know Rancor is awesome, as it has trample. But what about Bone Splitter?

Won another onesie vs. Delver - nice guy directed him to this site. Harrow+Ghostly Flicker+Gladeheart kept me alive and enabled Adverturing Gear for the win.
Now I'm moving on to matches and I've won three in a row. Surprise factor is huge.
2-0 vs. Stompy - He couldn't block my equipped Ledgewalker either game.
2-0 vs. Delver - G1 he should have won but I suspect didn't know what I was playing and made a couple of mistakes which cost him.
2-1 vs. BG discard deck - He hit me early and hard with discard but a rancor'ed Huntbeast can't be targeted and with pumps I came back. I didn't hit the right pieces and he had sac effects to keep my hexproofs off the table. G3 - I mulled to hit to Gardens and kept tokens on the board to deal with his sac effects. He hit my last token and then tried to get me with an Edict but I Flicker my two Gardens and kept pounding ftw.
Overall record 4-5
I don't like Sea Gate Oracle, it should either be a Mulldrifter or a Coiling Oracle. I'm going to try an Oracle and see how I like it. The Archaeomancer has been working pretty good and I am surprised how well the Dream Stalker is doing, kept the ground tied up quite nicely vs. both Stompy and the discard deck.

Looks like you are on a tear, avery! Its time for me to play a match, it seems! Played against Dark Cogs by Xackee here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iu5zo-blqGQ&feature=youtu.beDidn't go too well. I think your changes are pretty good, Avery. This is my v6 proposed list: I want the full 4 Coiling Oracles. If I can't have 4, I want more than 19 land. Changes -2 Wild Might (growth spells never feel very good here) -1 Ghostly Flicker (feels half-done, they shoudl either be more or none i feel) - 3 Calcite Snapper +4 Rancor +2 Primal Huntbeast (I think all four seems quite slow) SIMIC LANDFALL v6 2 Forest 6 Island 3 Khalni Garden 4 Terramorphic Expanse 4 Evolving Wilds Spells (19) 4 Adventuring Gear 1 Mutagenic Growth 4 Groundswell 2 Ghostly Flicker 4 Harrow 4 Rancor Creatures (22) 4 Coiling Oracle 1 Sea Gate Oracle 4 Silhana Ledgewalker 2 Mulldrifters 3 Dream Stalker 3 Grazing Gladeheart 3 Primal Huntbeast 2 Archeomancer SIDEBOARD 1 Sea Gate Oracle 1 Grazing Gladeheart 4 Gleeful Sabotage 3 Hydroblast 2 Moment's Peace 4 Thermokarst ------------- Same sideboard, so the sideboard plan on the last page still applies.

Sea Gate Oracle is fililng the same function as he does in Izzet Post (where he is sometimes played) - blocking. Mulldrifter and Coiling oracle sucks at blocking. He is also a Flicker target but the other two are arguably better such targets. I want to board them in against Stompy, Goblins and random small aggro decks

I'd recommend Spire Tracer. Might not have the hexproof that Silhana has. But it has great evasion and is dirty cheap. He is really really small and will do nothing some of the time. He also dies to everything, including Electrickery. I would rather have Huntbeasts (or even Bogle)

Oh, Huntbeast for sure is a great mid-game beat stick. And adventuring gear on him, plus Rancor... that could get out of hand real quick.

I have been playing around a bit with a Selesnya version and i figured i would post it here.
Lands (20) 4 Terramorphic Expanse 4 Evolving Wilds 6 Plains 6 Forest
Creatures (20) 3 Kor Skyfisher 2 Tangle Golem 4 Silhana Ledgewalker 3 Grazing Gladehart 4 Steppe Lynx 2 Primal Huntbeast 2 Tilling Treefolk
Other Spells (20) 2 Crop Rotation 4 Rancor 4 Groundswell 4 Adventuring Gear 4 Harrow 2 Journey to Nowhere
Sideboard 1 Kor Skyfisher 2 Guardian of the Guildpact 4 Dust to Dust 2 Journey to Nowhere 1 Grazing Gladehart 4 Inquisitor's Snare 1 Oblivion Ring
The sideboard is a bit awkward right now since i didn't have the tix to get the right cards (like moment's rest) and i don't know if i enjoy this deck enough to spend more on it yet.
With white i could change dreamstalker into kor skyfisher and coiling oracle into Steppe Lynx to make it more aggresive. I added a few more ways to trigger landfall since i lost both flicker and coiling oracle. Tangle Golem is an experiment and i have only cast it once in 4 matches and it was against the infect deck where it served as a decent blocker but still it might not deserve two spots.
2-1 against affinity. Dust to dust is really good against that deck. Last game i won by crop rotating in a wild lands with a gladeheart in play to heal enough so i survived the atog sac all and fling.
2-1 against infect
1-2 against delverfiend. Here the moments rest would have been much better than the fogs i used at the time (haven't tested the snare yet)
2-0 Against a green post green ramp into fatties deck. It tried to destroy my lands but most of the time i could respond with crop rotation or harrow to fizzle the land destruction.
I am new to building decks and magic in general so if i have missed any obvious inclusions or mistakes please let me know! I would love some feedback and/or criticism.

I'm trying to get ten more matches in before the next pttp podcast just for info.
Current record 6-7
win 2-0 vs. mono blue fissure - they can't do much about hexproog guys.
loss 1-2 vs. Delver - won game one and then he just went nuts with counters.
win 2-1 vs. Delver - hah land a Huntbeast - give Huntbeast trample and eguip him and Delver rolls.
loss 0-2 vs. UB Trinket - yeah, kills my tokens, makes me sac my hexproof and makes me discard my hand, I forgot his name but he was not surprised by the deck at all. Watches your videos Dan and remembered my name. When I played Garden he "ah, your avery61 from the forums" but I can't remember his name. If this was someone from here please pipe up lol.

Cool that he knew us :-) Trinket must truly be a nightmare matchup for this poor deck

woot! I've gotten my record to an 8-8 overall record.
loss 1-2 vs. Affinity - close games all the way around.
win 2-0 vs. Stompy - life gain helped. unblockable Ledgewalker also helped.
win 2-1 vs. BW Extort - also close games but dealing 18 points of damge in one turn can turn things around a bit.
Now I'm going to play me some standard pauper.

Went 2-1 one night and 1-2 the next night. Overall record 11-11.
Seems the best I can hope for is to break even.
