This thread is a place to send in your brews for Chris and Mike to cover in the podcast. If you think there are some established decks also that haven't been covered yet, inform it here.
Please include decklist and short description on how it works to make it easier for Chris and Mike. Stats and other interesting stuff is welcome too of course!
Also if there is a deck in the Pauper Decks board that you hope to get covered make it clear in this thread.
Note: This thread is locked until the forum changes are 90% ready. This thread covers the old board Deck Ideas For Podcast since we think these can be tracked at one thread and actual discussion about the decks should take place in the upcoming Pauper Decks board. This thread is just a resource for Chris and Mike (& possible co-hosts) for the podcast.
I won't delete that old area for a while and I will make sure that you have enough time to "save" any decklists or information you have there. Sorry about any inconvenience!

@ samo77: As you said yourself in a different thread, your deck is doing a variety of things. However, my impression is that it's not doing anything to full extend. Additionally, I don't really see the game plan here. I don't mean to be rude or anything, just my personal opinion (which might be wrong since I haven't tested the deck and the aforesaid text is based solely on experience).

Its cool. Its really just based around card advantage, with all the comes in to play effects. The Sea Gates and Ragers are card draw. The Man-O'War and Waterfront help keep the Board clear, the Squaddies are beats, the Skyfishers let you reuse the effects like drawing more cards or bouncing more creatures. Im thinking about dropping the rats for Faceless Butchers. Few sppells are some card draw, some kill, and a bit of recursion, so i can block into situatikns knowing im going to get my guy back.

Hey guys so I've been playing this deck for a while and its super match-up dependent but its definitely THE MOST FUN you can have playing in pauper. You can both gain infinite life and deal infinite damage with it.
The idea for this deck is old, but after hearing you guys discuss the masques set review a while back, it sounded like you'd never seen it.
I've tested this deck a bunch in the two mans and it has about a 60% win against delver and affinity, destroys monoblack, pillages goblins, and does pretty good against mono white. The only problem is it absolutely gets destroyed by infect, post, and storm. Though after side boarding each matchup besides post gets a lot better. Ill walk you through it.
9x Plains 7x Islands 3x Terramorphic Expanse 1x Forest
Creatures 4x Ramosian Sergeant 4x Nomads en-kor 4x Daru Spiritualist 4x Crookclaw transmuter 3x Task force 2x Spirit en-kor 1x Ramosian Lieutenant 1x Defiant Falcon 1x Amrou Scout 1x Avian Changeling
Spells 4x Ponder 4x inside out 4x Impulse 3x Heal the Scars
Sideboard 4x Tireless tribe 3xapostle's blessing 3x standard bearer 3x steel sabotage 1x aven rift watcher 1x nightwind glider
So this deck works in general like this get out one of the kor guys and get out either task force or daru-spirtualist. You can use the kor guy's ability to make the toughness on the task force or spiritualist infinite. Thus both your kor guys and your task force/spiritualist are invincible. Then after this you can use either crook claw transmuter or Inside out to flip their power and toughness thus doing infinite. Otherwise you can gain infinite with heal the scars.
There are some secrets to this deck however. First off is the rebels. Their primary purpose is to get the task force into play, however, a great alternative strategy against some matchups is to just use them to fetch an entire army to swarm opponents to death. They also get your secret weapon, the avian changeling.
The avian changeling is amazing in this deck because if you get a daru spiritualist out and a kor guy now you have an evasive guy who can swing in for infinite. He is the silver bullet in some matchups.
There is a secret weapon in the sideboard too. Against the bad matchups board in your tireless tribes and hope to get a god hand. You can win on turn two if you turn one plains tireless tribe, turn two discard your whole hand and flip his toughness with inside out.
However, the biggest secret about this deck is people have no idea what you are doing. This is perhaps a problem with giving estimates about my win percentages as they may go down if this deck proliferates, but usually there is some point in the game where you can swing in with a task force into a bunch of their guys, and they will take it. It's amazing how quickly a stalemate can turn into a victory.
The last thing I'll do is give a quick list of tactics that I've found work against some decks
against delver - get out a rebel as soon as you can and look to get out your avian changeling. Game one on the draw is a little tough but if you board in the aven riftwatcher you should have no problem. If you get a sergeant out they can only beat you by flipping a delver and going very aggro and the riftwatcher stops them dead in their tracks.
Affinity - this matchup often gets to a standstill and requires the aven changeling to fly over the top. However, this takes a while to develop and the have atog + disciple or fling to get past your arsenal of infinite toughness dudes. The key to this matchup is getting your green source to get infinite life before that happens.
Goblins - this is probably the best matchup since their removal can't kill your guys once you get the combo up, the best thing to do is game one combo them to the face and game two once they know what is up, just get some flyers out and swing over the top. If you go infinite on life they usually just scoop once you gain about 100.
Monoblack - they are annoying I'll give you that but rebels actually give them a tough time since they go after your hand.
Against all the bad matchups - well just try to get lucky with the tribes! There is support in that the bearers can take out the infect deck and the steel sabotages can hopefully take out serrated arrows which are the bane of this deck.
Anyways enjoy!

Have you talked about the wall/defender deck before? I've played it about four or five times this past week in just for fun, and it looks well fun.

MR. Kris, what deck are you referring too? I loved forcing Vent Sentinel in ROE draft and would love to see how this plays out in Pauper. Do you have a list?

Well, i might have some interesting deck ideas. Recently, there was a pauper tournament in(on?) one of the biggest brazilian stores. Even if the event itself was a bit small (16 people), i hope it'll help spread it's popularity. The banned list was the MOL's banned list, and all cards already printed in common rarity were considered legal. So, there were some interesting lists. Heres the link. news.letscollect.com.br/2012/06/fox/pauper-legacy-listas-e-mais/The card names are in english, and it has that "mouse over" thing that pops the card's image, so there shouldn't be any problem viewing the lists. Some of the decklists seem a bit weak, as well as card choices, but there are some interesting stuff. Theres a RW Rebels Couldpost list that jumped at me as really odd. And "Kuldotha Burn" also looks interesting. And an weird elfball-like list at the very bottom.

I'm definitely going to give the rebels/combo deck a try. Just a suggestion but isn't sheltering word from AVR a whole lot better than heal the scars or is the regeneration really important. Anyway thanks for the deck idea and I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.

I have no idea of how those decks play, as i was not playing in the event (it was in another city), but thought it'd be cool to spread some odd decklists around.

I dont have a list as the guy ive played online a few times wont share but fom what ive seen its RG 4 overgrown battlement 4 wall of tanglecord 4 wall of roots 4 vent sentinel 4 shield sphere 2 crusher 24 land 4 lightning bolt 4 galvanic blast 4 Brimestone Volley 2 X Red Spell
Something along these lines. Like i said i didnt see everything, but this is what I'd extrapolate from the games ive played. Crusher was there but dont know if it was as a two or four, nor do i know the exact land distribution. He also might have had more burn too.

How about covering some of the standard pauper decks in the podcast, since that is the current league format. There's been some interesting decks on here , including a mill deck, several playing mono-red, bw graveward decks, etc

I think that's a good idea, but I would be concerned about spoiling someone's tech to a potential opponent. I'll remember to ask this round when I play against someone.
