vs. From another thread: Mogg Fanatic is the best card in Pauper that nobody plays. You can quote me on that. Right now, it kills Benevolent Bodyguard, Crypt Rats, Delver of Secret, Disciple of Vault, Glistener Elf, Goblin Sledder, Ichorclaw Myr and Mogg Raider. Arguably those are some of the most problematic creatures in the format. It's removal on a body, exactly what you need to activate your Giantbaiting. It was interesting to read this, as I have been thinking a lot about Fume Spitter, because of those same reasons GOG said. Obviously Mogg Fanatic can hit to the dome also, but Fume Spitter doesn't care about pump spells (Invigorate etc.). Which is better? Are these cards played enough? Can we brew something cool?

Black/red deck I would run both

Don't run Fume Spitter in a mono red deck, and vice versa.
I prefer Fume Spitter, because it's a -1/-1 counter that can still kill a little dude, or shrink a big threat.
He was also a house in the mono black standard build I'm testing for this week.

I agree with Chris. There are better ways to burn your opponent.

I will also agree with GrumpyOldGamer, in that Mogg is definitely an underused and valuable card.

Don't want to be a party pooper but why are we discussing this? There is almost no way they will ever fit in the same deck. That said, I would much rather have Mogg Fanatic. I think you'd only want this sort of effect on a stick in an aggro deck and the ability to go to the face is much more important.

These two cards do a lot of same things, cost the same amount and are both pauper legal. It would be interesting to hear what people think about these cards. And of course it is impossible to say which one is better, due to so many variables etc. But Fume Spitter is something I like a lot. I quess it also sees some minor play atm?

It's like asking your buddies if they would rather have Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johannsen. Just because you're not getting either one, doesn't mean the obvious choice isn't Scarlett. What were we talking about?

I'd rather go for Jessica Alba *.* Honestly? Kate Beckingsdale. But only if she brings the outfit she wore in Underworld with her.

Personally, I'd rather spend time with Zooey Deschanel than the above mentioned.

Mogg Fanatic always has a target available for it's ability. Fume Spitter does not. But I'd rather have the Fume Spitter against an infect deck anyday.
Regardless, the correct answer is Eliza Dushku... because she'd work in either a black or a red deck.
