Mass Effect 3 in a couple of weeks! I'm getting the shakes just thinking about it. I need my fix! Indeed. ;D And that from the guy who finished his first playthrough of ME2, got up, went into the kitchen for a drink, came back and started a second playthrough immediately. I have played the first two games at least three times each, and read all the books. I'm not the fan-type, it's not in my personality to gush over things, but I'm definitely invested in this universe. And I miss Liara... lol ;D Speaking of which, I just finished Alice Madness Returns, and I must say that I liked it more than I expected. The game isn't perfect like I mentioned previously. There are definite issues with the controls and the camera, but it's nothing you can't deal with and it doesn't detract from the overall gaming experience. The art style is fantastic, great imagery and the gameplay is nicely varied. You get the expected fighting and platforming sequences, and then a few weird moments like rolling an hairless doll head through a maze, or going under water in a galleon, shooting cannon crabs and sharks made out of the wood of sunken ships. And there's cake (THE cake, the original one) which turns the character into a giant godzilla-style rampaging Alice. It's pretty sweet.

Good, I didn't want to spoil this if you hadn't. I actually played ME 1 and 2 through again to have my character pick Liara for all the romantic choices. After the Shadow Broker dlc, I realized that she was the one who truly loved Shepard, so I had to "make it right" and pick her from the beginning.
That's either dedication or insanity. Maybe a bit of both?

Maybe a bit of both? Goodness! Are you a long-lost brother or something? lol But yeah, I get you. In my first playthrough of ME1, I actually had Shepard remain faithful to Liara. In the second one though, since I'm a bit of an achievement whore and because I wanted to see the other options, I had him romance Miranda. The good thing with the Shadow Broker DLC was that you could actually reactivate the romance with Liara if she had been romanced in ME1. So I ended up doing that, even though I felt somewhat bad for Miranda. Third playthrough I did with a brand new guy and not one imported from ME1, to see how the default ME2 story went... and romanced Tali. It was pretty nice. I'm curious to see if this one carries over in ME3. Liara is still my favorite though. Yeah, I'm a softy.

Yeah, I went for Miranda in 2, as well. It was purely physical (that ass).

You guys really seem to have the luxury of too much time, huh? Yes and no. There are just periods of time when I can afford to game like a kid, every night, every weekend. Then there are periods like now, when I don't have time to game for weeks. It's a seasonal thing... or something.

The Witcher 2. And no, I don't have time for it. I also don't have time for two podcasts and a band, but eh. ;D lol yeah... When it came to training, I used to tell my customers that the more active you are, the more energy you have to be even more active. Apparently, that doesn't work with gaming. But I hear you, I'd really like to try The Witcher, I just don't have time. One more for the back catalog I guess...

This is my current back catalogue in order of the the priority I'm giving the games to play them:
Games I've started playing:
SWTOR Uncharted 2 Dragon Age 2 Mass Effect 2 Zelda: Skyward Sword
Games I haven't even touched:
Dead Space 2 Skyrim Mass Effect 3 Mario Galaxy 2 Fallout 3
I've got a few more that I don't include in the backlog because I know I won't be getting close to them until my children graduate (and one hasn't been born yet).
