Really wish i had a better name for the thread.
This is what i've been running since ever.
Creatures 4 Essence Warden 4 Thallid 4 Deathspore Thallid 4 Thallid Shell-Dweller 4 Thallid Germinator 3 Pallid Mycoderm 3 Krosan Tusker
Other Spells 4 Fists of Ironwood 4 Scatter the Seeds 4 Sprout Swarm
Lands 9 Forest 5 Swamp 4 Plains 4 Terramorphic Expanse
SB (this is where i need more help) 4 Echoing Decay 2 Moment's PEace 3 Duress 2 Spare From Evil 2 Sylvok Lifestaff 2 Grim Harvest
As i mentioned, i need help the most tunning the SB. This is mostly for casual play, since my store ceased regular pauper tournaments, but there still are a few from time to time.

I've been trying out Spare From Evil as a falter effect and it has worked great against everything except white weenie. I would take out the Raven's Crime since you don't have enough black sources to abuse it. Thoughtpicker Witch isn't great either since it doesn't affect the board.
I just don't see how this deck beats a shrine though.

I like the Spare from Evil ideia, will add it to the 2 opened slots on my sideboard. As for the rest of the suggestions, i dont know. Raven's Crime seems good (i can barely test since i've got no MTGO) even with a single black source. Making control discard one for turn isn't good enough late game? What would you suggest in it's place tough? And the Witch, you might be right. It's one of those cards i have always wanted to make work, and it seemed fitting against control. It does not affect the board state indeed, but being able to pseudo fateseal 2 isnt more important? With the amount of resources the deck can generate for her, it should be possible to either mana flood or the contrary. I am skeptical about removing either of these, but i would love to hear replacements suggestions. Changelog: SB +2 Spare from Evil red decks would be hard to beat.

With Raven's Crime they will always be discarding their worst card. It is best when you get them down to fewer cards but control decks tend to have more cards in hand at all times. I think targeted discard like Duress would be better. I would rather get their best card once than remove their worst card every turn. Another way to go is to return threats that have been answered. Grim Harvest would be great as even if they counter it you will eventually get it back.
What kind of deck would you want to fateseal? I'm guessing a control deck. So then why would you lower your damage clock to possibly remove a future answer instead of just creating more threats? Thoughtpicker Witch doesn't help you win. It only helps you not lose. I would much rather be proactive and win quickly.
One card I forgot to mention is Sylvok Lifestaff. It shuts down aggro decks very well.

I think targeted discard like Duress would be better. I would rather get their best card once than remove their worst card every turn. Now this i can understand. The way you put it, seems like Duress would indeed be better. Its replacing Raven's Crime. That too seems good. I just need to be careful with that much sacrificing going on. Will add to my sideboard, probably in the place of the witches. Ok, that too was well explained. If im swapping 2 witches for 2 Grim Harvest (that seems like an ok number for me), i am left with 2 open slots yet again. I've seen this card doing wonders at standard pauper, but i am skeptical about how it translates into classic pauper. Looks good on paper, but isnt there any other more efficient way to battle against aggro? I mean, sometimes in game 1 i need the essence warden or i lose, so i get the importance of life gain, but i dont know, still. I will add it to the sideboard anyway, with those 2 open slots i have. Changelog: Sideboard -4 Thoughtpicker Witch +2 Grim Harvest +2 Sylvok Lifestaff -3 Raven's Crime +3 Duress (should i find room for one more?)

It's been awhile but I really like this deck and I am starting my own build on this with your deck as my base. I apologize for not getting to it sooner but I have been really busy but I will be working on it.

I'm curious about your build, Nate, since I don't see a deck based on Fungi becoming tier one (no offense, ANZ).

Non Taken. I agree with you.
Still, its a really fun deck, and it can pull some wins against some tie decks.
