So I popped into a tribal elf deck that splashed blue for Distant Melody and card advatage. The guy usually got 5-8 cards from DM if it resolved. Have you seen this card played in pauper recently? What do you think about the card? It is originally printed in Lorwyn (of course).

Ive seen Travis Woo using it in some video over channelfireball, using elves too.
I think i have seen it on storm once or twice too, with Empty the Warrens, but i dont really like it.

Using it in storm seems like a great idea, but I guess if you have enough tokens to make it worthwhile you are probably in the position to win anyway, and won't need to storm again on your grapeshot the next turn. I was going to sneak one into my familiar storm deck, only to learn that Familiars are not a creature type.

There has been an Elfball-like deck in my Paper Pauper community. I'll post the deck list when I got more time.

Ive seen Travis Woo using it in some video over channelfireball, using elves too. Yeah, same here. Travis was also talking about adding Red for Roar of the Crowd. I actually ended up facing an Elf deck with both a couple of weeks ago, and got rolled pretty badly in game 2. The deck seemed a little weak nevertheless. I mean, card draw is great, but if you don't have anything relevant in your deck to draw into, what's the point?
