Hi again guys! I have a suggestion for the podcasts. Do a series of segments over some episodes that cover tips for playing. What I mean with this, during 3-5 episodes in a row add a segment to discuss the actual gameplay and cover some of these topics. All these suggested topics would be from tier1 point of view, as it makes the most sense imo.
Episode 1: Different roles in pauper and how to determine which role you play. (Combo/Aggro/Control) Shortly discuss one example deck from each category and talk about how the roles should be taking into consideration when playing.
Episode 2: Board control. Blue is hot atm, but how to actually take the control of the board? How to maintain the board control? What are the pitfalls of control player? What are the key decisions and pre-requisited to effectively control the board in pauper metagame?
Episode 3: Combat in pauper. Go through typical board situations and explain how combat works in pauper. What tricks can be expected and how is racing in pauper? Explain these things thoroughly and also add small comparison for limited and non-pauper constructed. Limited Resources just recently made awesome episode on combat in limited.
Episode 4: Sideboarding. How to evaluate game1 and your opponent. How to determine which cards to side in and which cards to side out. Discuss few example matchups (choose interesting ones!) and you could also add a segment where everybody presents one or two of their favourite sb cards.
I feel this kind of trial could help you evaluate how you arrange your podcast and also these topics would be very important for all players. Like it has been mentioned avery now and then: The show doesn't have very clear structure (note that listener's perspective is always different than those who have shownotes etc.) and sometimes individual episodes can lack focus.
Just a suggestion to consider/discuss. Keep up the good work All of this is posted as constructive. Not to criticize or overrule or anything like that. (But I guess you already understand that )
