Muscle Aurochs - 2G Creature Aurochs - common Trample Whenever Muscle Aurochs attack they get +1/+0 for each other attacking aurochs. 3/2 and Baby Aurochs G Creature Aurochs - common Whenever Muscle Aurochs attack they get +1/+0 for each other attacking aurochs. 1/2 Those would compliment very well with the Aurochs we have atm. Mainly I would like to see a really cool target for Aurochs Herd.

MikeyK should have his own card, which should be Pauper legal of course. He'd be a legendary 1/1 trample (just because he's so aggressive) for two colorless/two black with this ability: Tap: Target named card, which cannot be a basic land, is now unplayable (banned) as long as MikeyK is on the battlefield and tapped. If any of these cards are currently in play, they are exiled until MikeyK is untapped or removed from play. You may choose not to untap MikeyK during your untap step.

That is way cool What would be the flavour text? I don't know, but whatever it was I'm sure Chris would have to beep it out or censor it.

Now if we can get someone to come up with some artwork, we can print a promo card that the show can give away. All of the hosts should have their own card. This should be it's own thread. Sorry to hijack your thread, yugular.

I was just thinking of how annoying Storm is and I thought that wizards could easily print a card that has this ability at common on an aggressively costed permanent:
Players can't play more than 3 spells each turn.
It could go well with white's and blue's color pie, but I think its really needed by all colors. Maybe an artifact that gives you mana?
2 Calm Weather Jewel Artifact This comes into play tapped. Players can't play more than 3 spells each turn. Tap: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Or a land
Serene lagoon Land Players can't play more than 3 spells each turn. Tap: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Maybe a white/blue hybrid creature:
Peace Pigeon 1(W/U) Flying Players can't play more than 3 spells each turn. 2/1
Anyway, its been said before, the tier 1 combo decks in Pauper (storm and infect) are quite annoying and unfun because most decks have a very hard time dealing with them prior to sideboarding and because they can often go off on turns 1 or 2 before anyone can do anything.
I think ideally, a fun (to play and to play against) combo deck would require at least 3 turns to set up and each color must be able to have some kind of interaction with at least one of its pieces. At the same time, the combo deck should have a way to outplay that interaction other than just pure speed.
I think the goblins version of the empty the warrens combo is a good example of this, where the combo player sets up some goblins and then uses the goblins as mana to grab more goblins and play them and finally play empty the warrens with a bushwacker. Its how the normal storm decks should be in terms of speed and setting up.

That "ability" just doesn't feel like it will get printed at common level, it's more like rare ability tbh. But something like that could be interesting, I like the land especially. Make it so that it doesn't tap for mana but cycles for 2 or 3 and it is even more interesting

Me and Nate have been working on a custom set for a while and that idea for a land comes pretty close to something we had. Attachments:

I was thinking that because in most games of magic, you don't usually play more than 3 spells per turn, so it wouldn't have a huge effect on the board most of the time, making it quite unassuming in normal limited and constructed formats. By making it a permanent (as long as its not an enchantment), any storm deck in any format should have access to cards that can interact with it, but by having those cards instead of their normal combo redundancy, it loses consistency and speed, balancing out.
The land Midnight pointed out looks very cool, but the second clause would probably definitely stop it from being common..
