I'm curious to see what listeners want out of the podcast. I know the actual board members are a minority of the listeners, but it may give us an idea of what people want.

Darn, I forgot to include crack-a-pack. If its possible to edit the survey by an administrator, please add it. Otherwise, people should add posts mentioning it as par of "My own suggestion".

I'm not much of a casual player personally. I'll play some casual formats and I love Commander, but when I hit Pauper or Modern, I do so with a competitive mindset. Pauper is already something of a casual format anyway, so talking about casual Pauper seems needlessly redundant.
As I mentioned somewhere else, I'd wouldn't mind seeing the podcast move away from a strictly Pauper-related show, to something focusing more on budget gaming as a whole. It seems to me like it could appeal to a wider audience, and open the show to a bunch of new and different topics.

Along side budget gaming there could also be talk of the financial aspect of pauper (card prices, when to buy, what decks are cheapest or more accessible). I also should have added a vote button for that!
As far as casual pauper, I find that its often fun to look for interesting combos or themes. Unfortunately, there are usually a set of competitive decks that just destroy anything if its not fast enough so those combos or themes can't be played competitively. Having said that, many competitive decks or modifications have come out of a simple casual deck, after all, there are a lot of cards out there.

I want you guys to talk about the deck I posted. I want Mikey to be able to cuss much as a pg13 movie. I want morewrestling and mvsc3 talk. I want more strategy talk, not just deck lists. I want more opinion, less fact. More Mikey really. Sam!!!!

I agree with you as well as a co-host to the show I do feel that Mikey brings a flavorful aspect to the show that is needed because if we would just yammer on about Pauper all the time it would get a little dull and from what I've seen you guys seem to want a little entertainment as well.

I've been consuming more of the podcasts at work. Including the 2 hour Masques review. The reason it sucked so much ass was Wizards wanted to do a slow low power set between Urzas block and Invasion block. I hated Masques, but Masques/Invasion block was about my favorite Standard ever.

I want Mikey to be able to cuss much as a pg13 movie. (...) More Mikey really. I like Mike well-enough, but his kind of humor is not for everyone. I think that he made a place for himself on the podcast and that's great, but personally I also want to hear the thoughts and the opinions of everybody else too. I still want this to be Pauper to the People, not the Mike Show. No disrespect meant here. And I'm fine with not having too much cussing. I can swear like a peg-legged drunk sailor, and I hear plenty of f-words on the other podcasts I listen to, but I rather appreciate PttP being family friendly.

This seems like a good place bring this up.....
The three hosts had a "staff" meeting last night and have come up with some new plans to focus the topics, stay on point, and be more informative.
The best part? The new segment at the end of the show, titled "5 Minutes of Hate, with MikeyK". He bottles it up for an entire show and lets loose the hate missle at the end of the show. And no, that's not a sexual euphemism.

He swears less on Youtube. But we all swear less once the show starts recording. Before that, it's mayhem.
