Hey Tuna, I live in Portland, OR so shouldn't be hard to find a time. Mebbe Wednesday night? Message me if that works.

I lose 2-0... I also drop. That is all:). Sadly not up to playing in the league and I can't make top 8 anyway. Gl to the rest of you.

I got a couple of lucky draws. I wouldn't mind talking about it in the podcast, specifically, what I think can be done to disrupt a deck like the one I used.

Highgene mentioned something about discussing league games. I think it would be a great idea if everyone, with the permission of their opponent, wrote a matchup analisis of their match.

Hmm. I want to PM my opponent, but there's no one with the name DonaldTrump in the members list, and the round 1 results thread is gone (as is the league sign-up thread) so I can't see if he had any posts there... Is something wrong with the forums, or am I missing something? Maybe his MTGO name is listed instead of his forum name. Anyway, DonaldTrump, if you're around, feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you.

I won against jcrodd7776, 2-0. The deck matchup wasn't in his favor, but I won't spoil what he's playing.

I agree with gabochido that a report on the matches would be educational. However, I do see a couple of difficulties there: When commenting during the actual match, it may affect the quality of play (I strongly assume that it requires some cognitive resources. Even though this event is not intended to be super competitive, I guess everyone wants to win their games which they are supposed to when playing right). When recording/ saving a replay of the match, one may not know some of their (critical) plays anymore. Anyways, it would consume a considerable amount of time to create a comment/ match review. In addition, since not everyone is a native English speaker, it may take even more time. These are the reasons why I thought it'd be a good idea that I - who's not participating in the League - would do a coverage of the event (or at least a couple of matches, like the finals or something). If the participants don't want their decks to be spoiled, it would be absolutely fine when publishing the videos after the entire event.
Personal note: Also in this case, I don't mind my idea/ offer to be trashed, but any kind of feedback would be nice.

When I have more time this afternoon, I will do some digging.
