I have had some sick luck in the last three drafts. Draft1 (swiss): I get Liliana of the Veil and go 2-1 Draft2 (swiss): I get Garruk and go 2-1 Draft3 (4322): Sick UB deck was handed to me. Even test subject wheeled. I am still in a middle of this draft. My r1 opponent ragequitted and blaimed me lucky when I could just run over him in both g1 and g2. I simply had answers to all his plays and better creatures.

Dude, you got too much money. You could donate it to those in need... like me xD I sold Liliana for 22. Garruk for 16. Won 8 boosters as prices. So yeah I made a little profit, but actually not that much. One failure at draft brings me down to negative. And opening dollar-rares isn't too common and you always have to pick them even though it might ruin your draft. (Although I also got wheeled Past in Flames in last draft, it is worth some tix)

Yeah, you really can't draft for value, and it sucks that Pauper prizes are core set packs. If they were Innistrad it would be a lot easier to flip those winnings into more drafts.
But, hey. Sick pulls. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sells back his rares like they're going out of style.

Ain't there a saying: You should learn how to walk before running. However, I have the feeling that "running" doesn't apply to rarity in Magic xD

OMG! What a comeback in draft. R1G1 I have nice board with active Kessig Gagebreakers and he has only one dude (Skirsdag something) in his side. I draftet Blasphemous Act and decided to remove his creature from the board to have clear way (he is untapped also). Well I have never played BAct before and apparently I never read the card. It deals 13 to each creature, not to target creature...
Well I managed to win G2 and G3 with fast beatdown. Now to round2 ->

I ended up losing in the finals for a sick Travel Preps deck. Pheww. That guy had everything! + Gavony Township which is close to unbeatable in that deck.

Played another draft. INN-INN-INN Swiss. R1 I play against first timer in INN draft. Well he played a mill deck with Rooftop Storm in it. I lost game1 because I couldn't see the Mill coming and made a one mistake which cost me a turn. G2 and G3 were fast and easy. R2 I encounter a InvisibleStalker.dec. However he doesn't have any means to stop my airforce. Fast 2-0 win. In the finals I play against BR Aggro. And both games I got stuck on two lands!!! What a bummer. I guess that is variance I played GW Travel Preps, without the Travel Preps.
