Dear God of Complaining, I want to complain about people who use "your" instead of "you're". Also, when they use the word "for" when they mean "of". That is all. Amen. Did I do that in my post and didn't notice? If not... Well, what would you like me to do? Lol, just giving you a hard time, Mike. Look at your signature.

THE CUBE IS BACK!!! www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/other/04232012dAnd wow, am I impressed!! The cube is the same, and I personally thought it was a lot of fun even though I lost horribly due to not knowing the cards well and being an idiot. But now I have a chance to try it again. What impresses me is how Wizards is responding to, it would seem, every single complaint: - Its returning for a week during the stale time between a new set is released in paper magic and it comes out in MTGO. - Its giving packs for an out of print set so that the packs for the current sets don't devaluate. - Its putting a nix tix set of drafts for two weeks for the out of print set, in this case, Time Spiral, so that you can use up the boosters you win in the cube. - The set that's beeing nix-tixed has Tamagoryf, so it will most probably bring down the price for that card AND, more importantly for Pauper, Serrated Arrows. I'm not sure how much they will come down, since they are of the purple rarity but hopefully they'll be more accessible if anyone is missing them (wait till the 2 weeks finish to buy them). - Both the cube AND the nix-tix set will be available for 8-4s and Swiss. (ok, one complaint left... the 4-3-3-2 still only gives out 11 packs, though I'm glad its still that way otherwise I'm sure the swiss queues would greatly diminish). - The price packs are balanced! That is, among the 12 or 11 boosters given out at each event, there is an even distribution of boosters from each of the expansions (this was a huge problem before that made boosters from the last set really cheap and boosters from the first set really expensive). I'm thinking if anyone will complain its because they would have preferred another set to be the one for nix-tix and that the price for the secondary market of the packs is too cheap (3, 1.5 and 5 for TPF). Then again, its well known that if Wizards put 20 dollar bills in the packs, people would complain about the folding procedure and how they are not 100 dollar bills (anyone have a link to a complaints thread on when they put treasure cards in the Zendikar prereleases?). Anyway, I think this is very cool. And yes, I support wizards and get upset when they do cool thing but people complain.

Also a fan of Wizards and the things they do. I will definitely have to do a cube draft this time. I am disappointed I missed out on the last one.

Pretty sweet. I'm in a bit of a Cube fever right now, so this is a great opportunity to get some actual gaming done. Gotta love how much Wizards is on the ball when it comes to responding to player feedback. Anyway, I think this is very cool. And yes, I support wizards and get upset when they do cool thing but people complain. Yeah, same here. Obviously people will always complain, and when you're dealing with younger players and/or hardcore nerds, you kinda have to expect it. Nevertheless, I've yet to see another company of this size who is as good to its players as WotC.

I forgot to comment on this the first time, but the nix pix and out of rotation booster prizes? Brilliant.

Yeah. The cube is sweet!!! I dislike some parts of the list, but the format is just so awesome! I drafted three swiss events and had lots of fun! Also won quite many TSP block boosters which I can put into good use I is happy!

I've been pretty busy lately and couldn't play any cube the first time it was online, but I'm thrilled to get to play it now. I've done two drafts and already I'm in love... Honestly, all it took was the first draft, where I managed to split in the finals with a 14-land deck containing Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker and Cruel Ultimatum. ;D Sadly, I never cast the Ultimatum, and the only time I cast Bolas he was countered, but I did manage to Show and Tell Visara the Dreadful turn 3 one game and Recurring Nightmare a Grave Titan into play turn 4 another. The second draft I won with a slightly less exciting but more streamlined white aggro mana-denial deck. I slightly misbuilt both decks the first time around, but I haven't had much opportunity to play crazy combo-reanimator or WW-geddon decks before the MTGO cube. So if you want to play awesome constructed-like limited with awesome cards (that you don't get to play pauper), play the cube! It's sweet!
