There are some different lists out there for u/r delver. This is a standard list by Frosty Martin that I modified only slightly. It uses the arty package approach and it has performed fairly well so far. I think the potential for delver burn hasn't been fully realized yet. Interested in thoughts/suggestions from you folks. Instants/Sorceries: 4 Brainstorm 4 Think Twice 4 Negate 4 Lightning Bolt 4 Galvanic Blast 2 Brimstone Volley Creatures: 4 Delver of Secrets 4 Perilous Myr 3 Myr Sire 2 Stormbound Geist 2 Stitched Drake Artifacts: 2 Izzet Signet 2 Sylvok Lifestaff Lands: 2 Izzet Boilerworks 11 Island 6 Mountain Sideboard(ever changing, nice selection of board cards in these colors): 3 Curse of Chains 4 Dispel 2 Errant Ephemeron 2 Porcelain Legionnaire 1 Relic of Progenitus 3 Smash to Smithereens The counter magic is a WIP. Really HATE Mana Leak. Have used Counterspell, but it can slow the deck down having to devote 2 loyalty. I'm thinking of trying runesnags and maybe going 2 Negate 2 Dispel in the board. What is the Sylvok Lifestaff doing there? Why the deck needs it?
Personally I would run more sorceries/instants, but i like the idea. Counterburn is interesting decktype and delver fits in well.

When i was running counter burn i loved my 4 Keldon Mauraders. At minimum its a perilous myr at best its that plus a lightning bolt. On the high end if the spectrum i also was flip flopping between steamcore weird and staggershock (ones a good blocker the other can clear two turns worth of stuff or is four to the dome). Finally, i like the idea of four rune snags and two dispel. (but running some other type of hard counter in the SB).

So I tested a few changes... The Keldon Mauraders instantly appealed to me as a decent option over the Myr Sires. However, through testing I found them to be quite burdening... They just can't keep the ground game in check well enough to gain some tempo and I end up devoting too much burn to land creatures. I'd rather save my burn for the face giving reach to close out the game, or clear the way for my fliers. The Myr Sires give me 6-8 different blocks at my discretion, and transform Galvanic Blast into Galvinic Beast much more frequently(went to Chain Lightning with the Mauraders). I did decide to run 2 Bone Splitters over the Sylvok Lifestaffs. I boarded one life staff for burn and extreme aggro matchups. The counter package is now 4 Rune Snag and 2 negate, with 2 dispel and 2 Hydroblast boarded. I will post the tech again after more testing...
Thanks for the input fellas!
P.S. This deck kept up with WW and Slivers in the matchups I had against them...
