I've just purchased the final components for the first draft of my Pauper Cube (less two "expensive" cards), and I'm wondering how you all sleeve and carry/store your cubes. I was thinking of just going with a "deal" I found of 1000 KMC Perfect Fits for $32.00, and a plain cardboard card box. But not sure if this is the best or not.
Suggestions?

I hear from most everyone who sleeves their cubes that the perfect fits are the way to go. Some go the extra step of putting regular sleeves over those, to make the cards last longer.

I just use Ultra Pro Sleeves and make sure I have 50-100 extra because the damn thing rip so easy. but $32.00 for 1000 isn't bad and KMC are better quality sleeves. keep in mind that if you know anyone that bridge shuffles their deck they will rip alot of sleeves I found it's best to load you cards in the sleeves backwards that way they don't rip as easy.

Yeah, Ultra Pro Sleeves are fine. Go for it if you can get KMC for cheap, but there's no need to go crazy with the sleeves. Getting overly expensive sleeves or double-sleeving your Cube is pimping on the same level as foil or alternate/custom art cards. It's cute, but there's no need to do so unless you really want to. keep in mind that if you know anyone that bridge shuffles their deck (...) Honestly, if I find anyone going crazy on the shuffling with one of my Cubes, I'll slap him around good. These things are expensive. It's only a matter of respect to be careful with them.

I use Ultra Pro perfect fits and the Ultra Pro matte sleeves. Double sleeving is the way to go if you want to be really sure that the cards dont get damaged.
Please post your list here! Interesting to see cubes...
