I just got a hind end handed to me in the Tourney Practice room by this deck. He had game one locked down on his Turn 1 with Land Grant, for a Forest, into Tinder Wall into storming out for Empty the Warrens/Goblin Bushwhacker.
Game two he stormed for allot of mana and dropped Ulamog's Crusher....Turn 1. Turn 1. Watched some of this games and gathered the below cards. I asked him for a list and he said list wasn't his to give away.
Mountain Forest Ulamog's Crusher Simian Spirit Guide Empty the Warrens Seething Song Rite of Flame Pyretic Ritual Goblin Bushwhacker Lotus Petal Tinder Wall Land Grant Desperate Ritual Gitaxian Probe Manamorphose Dark Ritual
I obviously got no numbers but OMG deck wins out of nowhere.

I think it's fair to keep the details of one's brew secret.

Well, yes and no. As soon as he plays someone it isn't a secret anymore, especially so on mtgo where all you have to do is replay the match and get a pretty good idea of the cards and the interaction.

I can understand him not wanting to give a decklist. I probably wouldn't give a decklist either, it can be annoying to work hard on a deck and have people pm for it (or once it is posted pm on exactly how to sideboard.) This is especially true with a deck like this. This took looks a lot like Goblin Charbelcher to me. It does not seem like a good/consistant deck. It does look like something powerful that can shock people and win a bunch of tickets over a week though. The more people that know about it, it just gets worse for him.

Hello all. I'm Special_Kyle on MODO, the creator of this deck, and the person you played against pointed me to this site when he saw your post. As has been pointed out, this deck is basically pauper belcher, the decks name is Special Belcher. The person you tested against is the only other person with a list, and I asked him not to share, which I'm happy to hear was respected. That version is quite outdated now, and has actually turned into quite a real deck. This weekend I'm gonna drop the affinity list I've played the last hundred dailies and take this for a spin, hopefully I do well enough to get the list posted and you can all give some feedback on it. Any questions, just hit me up on MODO, as I doubt I'll check here often.

Glad you could join us Special K. I don't usually ask for decklist, but it was so unique I had to try. I hope you do well, but I won't promise to not copy the list if you do well in a daily. As I've said here before I love to play but I am a horrible deckbuilder.

I would definitely not fault anyone to build any deck that is at their disposal!

The decklist is posted on the pauper's cage website, and Special Kyle details the deck on ep 8. Here is the link they posted. www.wizards.com/Magic/Digital/MagicOnlineTourn.aspx?x=mtg/digital/magiconline/tourn/4002999 The deck went 3-1. I've been playing it and it is quite fun, but any piece of hate destroys it. There also isn't much card draw so knowing when to keep and mulligan is quite tricky. Because you need to get empty of the warrens before they have open mana to disrupt you, I found that it's best to ship your opener until you can ponder turn one or you have an empty the warrens to start the game off.
