ok so I just noticed that in my MTGO account I have a regular and foil copy of Circle of Flame promos. They are commons. I checked Gatherer and there they are only listed as Uncommons from M12. Due to the apparently online only promos, does that make the card pauper legal. If so, do we have a new tool for Goblin mirror or R/X decks vs Gobbies and tokens?

For a card to be pauper legal on mtgo it must have been printed as a common on mtgo. An exa, ple, Tormod's Crypt was printed as a Chronicles common and later included in mtgo from Time Spiral as a time-shifted card with a purple symbol. Even though it has been printed as a common on paper it has never been released on mtgo as common.

Well it's a common promo on MTGO so guess it should be pauper legal. I shall find out for certain.

AND......should have done this sooner. the Pauper filter in the MTGO deckbuilder removes all Circle of Flames, so...even though they released it online as a common promo it is not currently pauper legal.
