Well. Since 2x Ghostly Flicker and a Archaeomancer means you will always get back a Ghostly flicker, it could make for a nice combo. As long as you have another value creature to bounce with the GF, such as Mulldrifter, Sea Gate Oracle, and the ilk, you have nothing but value.
I could see this in a Post shell mostly. Plenty of mana to cast multiple Ghostly Flicker's per turn, and they can bounce a Glimmerpost for life gain. Could be something to brew up.

I found this article on MTGOAcademy that talks about the deck concept. www.mtgoacademy.com/common-practice-horror-flicks/It is a good base and is something to start with, but seems slow for competitive play. With Archaeomancer now available it lowers the manna curve a little. But like you stated something new to brew with! ;D

I wonder if these two could be shoved into that barely functioning Reanimator deck, to make it barely more functional.

I think that adding ghostly flicker to the familiar storm combo would gives it a few new combos when combining it with cloud of faeries, archeomancer/mnemonic wall and mana ramps.
You can basically cast the flicker on cloud of faeries and archeomancer infinitely and either use mogg bombers to deal lethal to the opponent or if you can generate one more mana than needed to play the flicker you can generate infinite mana and torch them to death. You can also add a life gaining creature (soul sister perhaps) to gain infinite life.
I assume these combos just aren't better than what already exists and that's why they haven't seen play.

I like the general design of it. Seems like it's a little short on wincon, but it looks like a good early template. It just feel like Ghostly Flicker needs more proactive targets, and not just lifegain and card draw.

I have seen some really nice Green/Blue decks lately in Standard Pauper using this card. It feels like it can be abused with Borderland Ranger etc......it also feels like it could be a standard staple after rotation in non pauper formats.....ie - Thragtusk, Snapcaster etc....
