It's arrest for me. If you like red you could go Keldon Marauders and hope to wheel the Reckless Abadon EDIT: Can't belive I can't read and missed Pyrotechnics

Wow. There's a lot of good Red cards in this pack. I would probably go with Pyrotechnics. "Arc" effects are always powerful, especially in Pauper where creatures are often smaller.
Most of the other Red cards would probably be gone by the time the pack came around again, but Reckless Abandon and Suq'ata Lancer might wheel. Both are decent. I wouldn't mind Orim's Thunder or even the Shieldmate or the Harness.
A good pack.

Elgaud Shieldmate.
Pyrotechnics seems like the strongest card in the pack and the one I would most want to play. Yet, I'd be worried about the heavy red in the pack, and that people you'd be passing it to would receive the wrong signal and end up in red as well. Leech and orims are both limiting and the two black cards are great, but I would only feel comfortable picking them up in a meta I knew was full of people who were reluctant to draft black. In a mono black shell they're good, but its too easy to mess up your mana-base if black isn't open.
I actually don't like the card all that much, but I'd go with Elgaud Shieldmate both for my first pick and assuming arrest and pyrotechnics are gone. It leaves you open to go towards a UB CA style deck if you don't see signals for an aggro heavy meta, and leaves you open to UW if all the aggro cards are being snatched up.

I'm with ckangas. Shieldmate is a pretty great body, being a 2/3, and any creature you drop (hopefully with evasion) gives them both hexproof which means they need to be in B for a Pestilence/Rats or a double sac effect.
Seeing a pack dominated by a single color almost immediately puts me off that color, unless there is an AMAZING spell I can pick up, and not worry about shafting myself on future picks.
My pick: Dauthi Slayer. Shadow is awesome, and its a 2/2 for 2. I'd be hoping for the Ebon Hand to wheel so that I could go Black aggro with maybe a few good burn spells to get added reach.
