Pitlord says it can't work, well that was before RTR was available online. I feel that while RTR will bring aggressive Rakdos decks into the mix, we are still maybe facing a slower standard metagame and mill might be valid strategy - who knows... One interesting card that RTR brings to the mill strategy is: And I wanna make him work with this guy: Mill deck v1 - the starting point:Millers: Doorkeeper Curse of the Bloody Tome Vedalken Entrancer Thought Scour? Mind Sculpt? Archaeomancer/Ghostly Flicker engine could work here too. Maybe even Galvanic Alchemist... Some of the best defenders in the format currently are Angelic Wall and Ogre Jailbreaker. These are the top options for Doorkeeper support. There aren't any great counterspells in the format, Dispel is though interesting for sure. There aren't any playable Ponder effects either, but Thought Scour and Abundant Growth cantrip and could both have a role... I can definitely see something interesting coming from here. Maybe not tier 1, but playable. I will post here when I get a hold of these cards in mtgo and can really start brewing and narrowing the deck to 60 cards.
