So I've saved up about 50 bucks, and I've finally worked up the courage to buy some digital cards, but now the question is:
Do I buy tix from Wizards, or bot credits from somebody like MTGOTraders?
I'm pretty much just going to be going "all in" on Standard Pauper so it seems to me that bot credits are the way to go, but I'm not sure if there's an even cheaper way to pick up cards to make the tix worth buying.
Help!

One good way to go is to check things like MOTL listings for people who sell tickets for anywhere from 95 to 99 cents. There aren't always postings for them but if you can find one they're a great place to get tickets.

Of those two options: Bot credit.
But like Pitlord said it is best to have someone to buy ticks. I have my "dealer" who sells me tickets way less than the market price is and we have found mutual respect and trust through a few very big trades. Now if I need 20tix to draft I contact him in modo and will transfer money to his bank account when I log off.

MTGO traders is very reputable, so there won't be an issue there. MOTL can be risky since you're trading with someone you don't know. If you go the MOTL route look to see how much rep they have and check with people they've traded with before.
$50 for standard pauper? Where are you going to spend the other 40 tix?

Well I"ve brewed GW Midrange, Mono Red, Mono Black, UW Skies, BG Midrange, GR Midrange, White Weenie, BW Exalted, Izzet Control, and my pet build Naya Gate-Tokens (title needs work).
With whatever is left over it will probably be ending up in my (Roguish) MBA build. I'm still missing a few pieces to move it from "just for fun" to "tourney practice".
