Hey everyone. We're rapidly approaching the milestone of 100 episodes, and it's time to again take stock of the show as a whole.
In your opinion, what segments have outlived their usefulness? What segments need to be expanded and need more attention?
What aren't we addressing that is important to you.
And finally, are our talking points too regimented for your tastes? Should we have more banter and flow between topics?
Thanks for your support in listening, playing matches, participating in the community, and kicking major ass. Here's to 100 more!

At this point I feel like the show and its hosts have proven themselves. There's a good dynamic going on and each host has carved a niche for himself, which is good. I definitely appreciate the maturity level of the hosting, the fact that it's not a bunch of 17 years old with too much time on their hands trying to one up each other.
My suggestion for the future is the same as what it has been for 50+ episodes: that the show puts more emphasis on budget gaming as a whole, and not focus solely on Pauper. Then again, I'm a Pauper player second when it comes to Magic, so take that with a grain of salt. Then again again, even if I'm a Pauper player second, I still try to listen to the show every week so... take that with even more salt.
My hope for the future is that the forums becomes more active as a whole. That's likely out of the hosts hands, but that would be nice.
Edit: Oh, and more Cube stuff. Not just Crack-a-Packs, but also discussions about building and design. Cubing is one of the best thing that Magic has to offer, and when it comes to Cube, Pauper has nothing to envy the other formats.

Consider me mostly in agreement with Grumpy. Magic (through Pauper) is my secondary game, but the podcast has proven itself worthwhile to listen to each regardless. While I'd understand not moving the show into budget gaming outside of Magic, I actually thoroughly enjoyed the times that Modern has been brought up as it's the next most interesting format to me after Pauper. A segment on budget Modern a bit more often would be most welcome.
That said, I do have to differ a bit from Grumpy on this one. I don't actually like Crack-a-Pack on the episode that much. I find myself fast forwarding past it most of the time. On the other hand, an episode about building and designing a cube would probably be quite interesting to me.

On the other hand, an episode about building and designing a cube would probably be quite interesting to me. If we get through with our plan to create a modo cube for this community we will definitely devote an episode for discussing solely on pauper cube. (am i right Chris? )

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I only play pauper so I have zero interest in anything but pauper. I would love to see more time covering standard pauper, take some time to look at pdcmagic tourneys and discuss these. Love how things are going now and would really hate to see something take time away from pauper coverage.

I for one would like more video game talk:). Also more newplan wouldn't be a horrible idea.

You are doing great, guys. I have listened to every single episode and it just keeps getting better.
Personally, I would like the following:
* More Classic Pauper * More Metagame Analysis * More deck analysis and primers * More matchup analysis like you used to do, there are still a lot of matchups you havenĀ“t covered * More newplan and other successful tournament players * Less non-pauper related stuff (like videogames) * Less standard pauper (but that is probably just me) * Less cube * Less crack-a-pack (that segment just feels like its stolen right out of limited resources)
Thanks for an awesome podcast!

I am going to test something with episode 99: putting the podcast up on our YouTube channel as well as submitting it to mtgcast. This, if it works properly, should do two things:
1) You'll get the episode sooner. 2) I can use a lot less compression of the audio file, which should make it sound way better.
The disadvantage is that you won't be able to download it from there, but you'll at least get to listen and/or get a sneak peek.

Here's a random collection of things I like/don't like:
Crack-a-pack isn't great, mostly because we don't have the full cube list and don't get to play with the cube. So it's just a bunch of dudes talking about stuff in a limited format that will never be relevant to the majority of the audience.
Like others, I appreciate the metagame analysis and deck techs. I also enjoy the Brew of the Month a lot, even if it's for Standard Pauper which I don't really play. I'd like more brewing and individual card discussion.
However, Card of the Week is pretty lame, since 90% of the time you're hitting chaff that no one wants to play in any format.
Heroes of the Web is awesome.

Card of the Week got the axe as of episode 99.
Crack-a-Pack is going on hiatus on the show itself. It still will be a weekly forum topic.
Heroes of the Web will be pried from my cold, dead hands. I love that topic. ;D
