I just posted my top 10 Magic: The Gathering Podcast list on YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN746QQ9ec8Even if the podcast did not go all the way, I´d like to take this opportunity to thank you, Mr Chris Plummer, for being the best Magic podcast host I have yet had the pleasure of listening to. Thanks for a great show, guys!

This is so awesome that from now on we will only accept feedback in Youtube video form. Seriously though. I feel very honored by this, and to be mentioned with some other great shows. I am also really comfortable with Pauper's Cage getting a rank higher than us as a result of their content. Having a show like theirs, which is very much catering to the "spike" crowd, has really freed PttP up to just develop into what show it naturally wants to be. And that means a slightly more casual, occasionally off-topic, but still (hopefully) enjoyable and informative experience. And the remarks that I'm one of the best podcast hosts period? That means more to me than you will ever know. Seriously. Thank you for that.

Interesting list sissela My top5 would be: 1. Limited Resources - Very professionally recorded/edited/produced - Top quality information - Very on topic approach - Jon Loucks is one of the most fun personalities in the mtgcast network imo. 2. Joy of Cubing - My favourite format covered in depth - Top quality host - Interesting variety between different guest hosts 3. Pauper's Cage - Well thought out content - Interesting guest hosts and topics <> Being a guest host on the show just made it more clear that this show deserves respect as the show notes and preparing for the topic is really well constructed! (thanks to DimeCollector) 4. Commandercast - Easy to follow as the structure is well thought out - Well produced - Covers wide range of topics related to the format <> We shall see how the show turns out after Andy left it. So far episodes 101 and 102 have been ok. 5. In Contention - Allows to stay on the map of competitive magic with very short commitment (timewise) - Good hosts <> I liked the old In Contention better (before the strong SCG affiliation and before Sam left) The replacement for Sam is very good, but the show is different now than 30 episodes then and I feel like the show was at it's peak just before Sam left. From the newish podcasts I really like Magic the Amateuring and Heavy Meta. Heavy Meta being one of the few shows where modern gets even a little attention and Magic the Amateuring is just easy to listen and has a fresh view on the game. I can't really rate PttP as I feel like being part of the staff and therefore too close to really make objectional rating.

I think the dynamic between Pauper´s Cage and Pauper to the People works out quite well. Spikes in the cage and the rest outside. Sounds reasonable :-) I know there are some great cubing and commander podcasts out there that I missed, Yugular, as I do not play those formats at all.

Hm... So I'm controversial? Um.. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. Controversy has the potential to be used as a resource.

Exactly. And opposing view points/play styles just makes for better, more diverse discussion.

Hm... So I'm controversial? Um.. Is that a bad thing? That is an amazing thing! Keep it up! I like the combo of the really lawful good host in Chris in contrast to you. And yes, I miss the five minutes of hate :-)

Are there any other podcasts besides EH Team and Yugular´s list above that you feel that I should listen to? Let me know Well if you were cubefanatic you should listen to all the old episodes of The Third Power podcast by Anthony Avitollo and Usman Jamil. Too bad they only manage to put out an episode every now and then. If you dont however own a cube or arent interested about cube design philosophies that podcast doesnt have anything for you...
