The Pauper to the People community has discussed joining a clan as another way to keep contact with one another. Like stated elsewhere, a person is free to join or not join the clan we decide on. This will just be a recommendation for listeners as a way to connect with other listeners.
Chris is a member of Limited Resources, but isn't married to it, so he will be making the switch to whichever decision is in the majority.
Mike and Nate already belong to Pauper Krew. But they've stated they will change if another option is chosen.

What about a clan called "Pauper to the People"? I think its a great name and its a way to redirect interested people to the forum and the podcast

Better use what is already there to create synergy effects. I'm inclined to agree with that, sissela. But I will defer to what the majority wants to do (even though I just joined Pauper Krew, inadvertently).

Considering that most (all?) of the PttP hosts/co-hosts are already part of Pauper Krew - as well as a good chunk of the forumites here, apparently - it would make sense for PK to become the de-facto clan for the PttP community.
So if that happen, the question becomes: is it relevant to keep the proboard forums? I know that Matti did a lot of work on them and so I mean no disrespect to him or to the other administrators, but if the idea is to try to bring together the Pauper community a little more, it might just be better to close the forums here and make PK and the PK forums the gathering place for all PttPers.
...if the members of PK agree to it of course.

What I would like to see is combining three forums into one - Pauper Krew, MTGOStrat & PTTP. I prefer combining all three into the PTTP forums - I like the layout better. It is unlikely, however, that we can pull this off. There will be, and are, people here that will not be members of Krew, or who view the MTGOStrat site. I think we will have to be satisfied with having multiple forums on Pauper on several sites. It is a little discouraging posting the same decks/tech/questions across forums but that's just probably just the way it's going to be.
If we could merge forums that would be an awesome coup.

I had thought about doing something like that, but it probably is too difficult. We'll probably just have to be diligent about linking to the other forum when we ask a question over there and vice versa.
The other main thing I want to keep focus on is the fact that we're not going to be "The Official Podcast of X Clan".

The other main thing I want to keep focus on is the fact that we're not going to be "The Official Podcast of X Clan". I agree. The podcast should be about the whole of Pauper and not about a single clan. My point was that, if listeners looking for a clan are to be directed toward PK, it's very likely that their Pauper home on the web will become the PK forums. I don't have access to exact stats, but if you look at the "Active Users in the Past 24 Hours" on the front page, it's pretty much always the same dozen people or so. And most of those people, it seems, are already members of PK. As Avery mentioned, it's a bit of a pain to post on two different forums when looking for comments or feedback. As such, it could make sense to try to merge both forums, or remove one of them. Keep the community as one. I can understand PttP wanting to keep a presence on the web, but a blog or even a page on the WrongWayGoBack network for news and such could be plenty - with only one forum for all the Pauper discussions and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like this place. I'm not even a member of PK and I kinda hope for a PttP specific clan. Here, I can post stuff about other formats I like, something which perhaps I wouldn't be allowed to do on other Pauper forums. But I believe that the format could benefit from having a community that isn't so 'scattered'.
