Work is getting in the way of me playing in the standard pauper event today.
Current record 16-4
2-0 vs. UR Flicker - I was way too fast for him both games.
Oh, and I play standard pauper in the tournament practice room all the time, why not play there?

I had no idea there were matches in the tournament practice room, all the rarer formats tend to concentrate in the "just for fun" room, such as multiplayer etc. But I will do it in the tournament practice room now, thanks for letting me know. Today's match was against Mono Green (!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQx0HqiwHQY

Well, honestly, what I do is set a match for both rooms and take the 1st one that bites. The TP room is less likely to quit on you of course.

Current record 20-6 Losses were to a BUG deck with Flicker/Archeomancer tricks (played all on color Gatekeepers) 0-2 and Selesnya 1-2 - I had very slow starts & probably poor mulliganning decisions - he didn't Wins - 2-0 vs. Mono Blue / 2-1 vs. BW Extort/ 2-1 vs. Mono Red/ 2-0 vs. a 4 color monstrosity Interesting to see was a Gruul build make the semi-final of the MPDC season 20 championships. The deck was piloted by Chipp (here's a lint to the article puremtgo.com/articles/writer-adept-mpdc-season-20-champions). I don't like the Ambush Viper but the Splatter Thus is a creature I have thought about trying out. He calls the deck Gruul Disciples because he has a play-set od Disciple of the Old Ways, another note worthy card that could be included. Let me know what you think of his deck & should we make some changes? Merge the two decks a little? Or are they two different entities? Personally I think the Hunger's could be reduced some and the Druid's could be taken out altogether? Too much? Or am I messing too much with a good thing?

OK, did a stream and uploaded everything to YouTube when I was done. All the 3-0 drafts on the stream has drawn a lot of people to it so I had 7 people watching at one time, which must be a record for my non-draft play there. This is the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejYsWPCoyMAI played UR Nivix Cyclops Boros Aggro Extort Control (thanks for the tip about Gnaw to the Bone in the show!) Does anybody have a written sideboard plan? I am having some problems with sideboarding and love me my sideboarding plans in writing

I don't have a written SB plan yet but am working on it.
1. I usually SB out the Hungers unless it's vs. mono red or Gruul. If it's vs. Extort I usually swap 4x Hunger for 4x Thunderbolt.
2. Against other aggro decks (or vs. anything that has a lot of removal) I bring in the Gnaw to the Bones.
3. The Curse of the Pierced Heart comes in vs. UR Control and most control decks. 4x Hunger (fearing bounce) for 4x Pierced Heart.
4. Electrickery comes in vs. mono-white and some red builds. For mono-white it's -4 Hunger for +2 Electrickery & +2 Natural End.
It'a a work in progree as I'm always second guessing myself.
Current record 23-6
2-0 & 2-1 vs. mono white - same guy both times. He wanted to play me again. Electrickery wrecked him in match one and G3 match 2.
2-1 vs. BW Extort - Pingers in the form of the Druid kept him off too much life gain and then pingers and Curse of the Pierced Heart were doing 4 a turn in G3. That was awesome, had two of each in play.

Thanks, that goes a long way. My current record is now 5-1. I am very impressed by the deck.

I'm thinking that against mono Red we may want 4 Gnaw to the Bone in the board. I'm sketchy on straight up main decking it, though.

The Flickergate deck looks very interesting. I ran into it last night and played vs. it twice.
Current record 24-7
1-2 & 2-1 vs. Flickergate - cool deck and I will build it. Lots of interaction with the keepers. In match 1 he gained, I don't know, a million life or at least it seemed that way. I wasn't sure what the deck was but felt better prepared in Match two.
Going to watch the vids and play some more. May try to build Flickergate (and Illusionary Tricks for classic pauper)

Tricks semss to be a fine deck, havent tried it myself.
Flickergate reallly caused an uproar in the stream. People just loved it, even though I beat it. The match against Flickergate beings about 48 min into the video

Current record 26-9
Lost two in a row. I was playing much later than I normally do so fatigue may have played a part (or not).
0-2 vs. Boros - he just got off to some quick starts and I misplayed I'm sure. 1-2 vs. Selnesnya - Clicked on submit deck before I actually made any SB changes, so yeah. I called it anight after this.
2-0 & 2-0 vs. Flickergate - one was a UWR version and the other BUG. I was just too fast for them to keep up. The BUG version had better game than the one splashing white.
I built the Flickergate deck (or one version of many) and it's nice. I wonder if it can hold it's own against a fast agro deck though. The mirror matches go very long, this has to be taken into consideration clock management is crucial.
