I'm trying to get into Pauper proper. I've played a little of Standard Pauper, and it is great fun, but I'm getting the itch to try the eternal format. Episode 114 was great for me to get an idea of the different deck types that are floating around, and thanks to greystone I now know where to go to copy decks All this as a preamble to ask, where do you guys get your cards? Could someone suggest a good bot for pauper? Or someone trustworthy to trade with?

Depends upon how competative you want to go.
There are penny bots, and half-penny bots out there that can get you a ton of Pauper cards to help you get on your way.
Two respectable (and I use both) bot services out there are MTGOTraders (Beware there is a scambot posing as them, I think it's Buybot 4 or 5?) and MTGOAcademy. Academy offers digital packages of Commons, Uncommon, and 750 common bundle sets that will be delivered by an in game rep. They also carry theme bundles such as Elves, Goblins, and Zombies. Great for starters.
There is also Cardhoarder.com, but I haven't used them so I can't say anything about their prices or quality of service.
I would also recommend if you are looking at anything other than pauper, and even if you are (because they have decklists and priceguides, sort of) check out mtggoldfish.com to see how the market is. Click metagame to see the pauper section and from there you can gauge how much certain cards are going for.
Good luck!

mtgotraders.com has everything and if you order online and pay with paypal you can use codes to get -7% off.

Yeah if you want to spend IRL money on cards, MTGOtraders is the best. You can use various codes, like "mtgsallypaypal" if that's still available for huge chunks off the cost.
Other than that to get some of the more rare staples you can try my personal favorite bot chain: Dojo. They seem to have everything in stock unless people have bought them out of something, then they'll usually restock within a day. Getting the best prices on all the pauper staples requires a fair amount of patience and searching though.

mtgotraders is really bad for bulk commons that you can get for 0,25 or 0,5 cents from other bots.
This is how I do it and I feel I am very close to optimal as I have studied how to find cheap Pauper commons a lot (having built every deck I know of):
First I check Bulking - Bulking has 400 commons for 1 tix. Then I check Quarter_of_Six_Bulk_Buy or Grotius (+his 5 buddies). They have 200 commons for 1 tix. Then I check PennyBot and Quarter_of_Six_Bulkbot. They have 100 commons for 1 tix. Then I check uomoraradio (the exact name is hard to spell). It has 60 commons for 1 tix.
If I had credit with other bots, I would add more halfpenny bots but it is also really bad to have credit with many bots (bots disappear) so I try not have more than 8 tix in credit total (counting the ones that have scammed me)

People have recommended Furt for more expensive commons but the three or so I have checked were way more expensive than mtgo_bazaar (that is still my favorite bot) or mtgotraders, so I was not impressed

Yeah, I had heard the same thing about Furt before but it's always been more expensive to me.
Just did a price comparison on some of the more expensive & more popular pauper cards. This is what I cam up with.
Card MTGO_Bazaar MTGO_Traders Furt Crypt Rats $3.96 $4.12 $4.25 Cloud of Faeries not in stock $6.97 $7.00 Daze $8.36 $8.98 $9.00 Accumlated Knowledge $2.02 $1.90 $2.25 Serrated Arrows $5.94 $1.75 $6.00 Brainstorm $1.22 $1.50 $1.50 Gorilla Shaman $5.74 $5.86 $6.00 Exclude not in stock $0.46 $0.50 Ptyroblast $4.38 $4.59 $4.50 Hydroblast $1.90 $2.64 $3.00
Notes: These are all tix comparisons. I chose the cheapest card if multiple selections were available. MTGO Traders give an addition 5% off if using paypal. MTGO_Bazaar did not have all the cards I loked up. Bboth Bazaar & Furt did not have the least expensive version of Serrated Arrows available. So this comparison isn't apples to apples.
Hope this helps.
