wondering about the viability of shadow slice in classic pauper. 5 mana is a big ask but it finishes games pretty quick on any creature, plus there are a variety of good creatures to put it on (looking at you, looter il-kor)
its just a terrible card right? dreams of reenacting the GTC shadow slice deck are my only excuse for looking at this card

I am afraid it is just a terrible card. It is quite hard to make creatures stick in Classic Pauper ... if I stretch my imagination a bit I could see it as a SB card in a black deck against decks that can do nothing against creatures (such as Stompy)

Accelerated mana based BG deck with trample creatures to push it through, maybe. But Dan is right, it's a terrible card.
