www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM-XezVkxLAAvery61, would you like the role of the "bad cop" (played by E.Hustle in The Pauper Gauntlet going on right now) in the Standard Pauper Gauntlet ? I.e. the one who gives feedback about deck submissions and turns away unoriginal builds? I can think of noone else more fiting. If you don't want to, let me know and we will make this post a callout for a bad cop for Standard Pauper. It would take someone who knows the deck, the metagame and the format quite well.

Sure I can do that, and I would love to see a standard pauper gauntlet.

Sure I can do that, and I would love to see a standard pauper gauntlet. it will happen end of february (release date of Born of the Gods is Feb 17) online and probably go on for ten weeks. Your main participation would be during the deck submission process that would happen Monday Feb 24 to Wednesday March 5th.

This doesn't necessarily "bug" me so much, but the word is "gantlet." A gauntlet is a glove (Gauntlets of Chaos). A gantlet is a medieval torture device designed for someone to run through.

If you want to get really anal about it, it's origins are from Sweden, and we have a swede running it which is ironic and awesome at the same time. The word gauntlet/gantlet comes from the swedish word gatlopp. grammarist.com/usage/gantlet-gauntlet/

Pretty much this:
Etymology[edit source | editbeta]
The word "gantlet" is derived from "gantelope", from the Swedish "gatlopp" (street run, street race); a loanword probably acquired by English soldiers during the Thirty Years' War. The modern spelling of "gauntlet" was influenced by the French-derived word used for a glove worn as protection or armour.[1][2][3][4][5] Robert Hartwell "The Grumbling Grammarian"
