Chris is going to be missed, that's for sure. But I am glad to see Nate stepping up and taking over. I'll try and keep My pessimism jokes down, for now.

Whoah, I drift out for a couple months and craziness happens. Guess I'll have to give it a listen and see what's up.

Hey guys,
"The Chris is dead, long live the Chris" - as the frenchies would say :-)
About my article: Also sad that you didnt like the deck. I have the feeling that my article didnt convey what I intended. Let me state it like this: The deck is NOT a combo deck like midnight sisters.
Most games end due to beatdown or inability to deal with the combo after having spent resources to prevent the beatdown. The combo is almost inidental. Gond plays cards like apostle's blessing and vines to protect the combo, project x doesnt. Also, the cards do something on their own by just being solid value guys.
Look at it as a midrangey toolbox deck, like pod in modern. Trying to force the combo ends in a desaster (see chapter 2 of my article). Having so many lines leads to complex decision points and a lot of room for missplay, way more complcated than just 'going for it or not'
. TE doesnt beat down and is a perfect example of what not to try, maybe as a transformative SB plan.
Cheers
Dom
